Delete Your Account
You can delete your VoiceCue account and everything synced to it at any time. Here's how, what gets removed, and what we have to keep.

Fastest route. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. It's immediate and permanent.
Already uninstalled? Email privacy@voicecue.app from your account's email address. We'll delete everything within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
Deleting from inside the app
The same path works on every platform. You'll be asked to confirm, and on some sign-in methods to re-authenticate first — that's the store's requirement, not ours, and it exists so nobody else can delete your account.

Deleting by email
If you no longer have the app installed, write to privacy@voicecue.app from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may ask one question to confirm it's really your account before we act. We'll complete the deletion within 30 days and email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, from our systems:

| Synced scripts | Every script and folder stored through Cloud Sync, including their titles and text. |
| Settings | Synced app and display preferences. |
| Usage records | AI generation counts and quota records tied to your account. |
| Sync metadata | The bookkeeping that tracks which device has which version of a script. |
This cannot be undone, and we cannot restore a deleted account. If your scripts exist only in the cloud, export or copy anything you want to keep before you delete.
What stays, and why
- Everything on your device. Local scripts and recordings are stored on your phone or computer, not on our servers — we have no copy to delete. Deleting the app, or the files themselves, removes them.
- Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel it. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and are cancelled in the App Store or Google Play. See our Terms.
- Billing and tax records. Where a purchase was made, we keep the minimum transaction record the law requires us to keep for tax and accounting purposes. It contains no script content.
- Anonymous crash reports. Crash diagnostics are not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to it after deletion. They expire within 90 days.
Other options
If you don't want to delete everything, you have narrower choices. Turning Cloud Sync off in Settings → Account stops your scripts leaving your device and keeps your account. Not using the AI features stops any AI processing. You can revoke camera and microphone permissions in your device settings and the teleprompter still works.
